His investment approach places equal weight on people, commercial and financial context, and technology. Lex takes time to understand what drives founders, how they reason through uncertainty, how teams engage with partners and customers, and how early decisions shape long-term outcomes. He aims to be a thoughtful, steady partner when decisions are nuanced and the path forward is still taking shape.

At BVP, Lex works closely with founders, building strong relationships while supporting them through fundraising, hiring, networking, validation, and key decision moments – all with the aim of achieving real-world application and market-beating financial returns.

Outside of work, Lex enjoys traveling, staying active, and reading, reflecting a broad curiosity about people, health, history, technology, markets, and the unknowable future.

Lex holds a Master’s degree in International Business, with a specialization in Strategic Corporate Finance, from Maastricht University and started his career at BVP after a handful of internships.
